Samar is an electronic and electroacoustic composer and producer, sound designer and guitarist. He attended Berklee College of Music, Boston. He composes for film, web series, ad and corporate films, exhibitions, podcasts, theatre and choreographers
His work has been featured in The New Yorker, VICE International, Netflix India, MensXP and at art and theatre festivals across Europe and Asia. He has also worked as music editor at Time Out magazine and as assistant editor at Rolling Stone, India
He creates and plays electronic music under the name *nofun and is one half of the Paris-based 360° audio solutions company Sonofabrik
